Spoiler Alert: There are spoilers in a lot of these reviews. If you haven't seen the movie, skip to the end of the article where I have a brief rating and a warning about some objectionable content to watch out for. I'll try my best not to ruin the whole thing, but I can't promise anything.

My Pantheon of Films

Filmspotting is a movie review podcast that I hold in high admiration. On their website, you can find what they call the Pantheon. Essentially it is a collection of movies that they admire so much that they have put them on a list and created a rule for themselves not to use them in any top 10 lists. I don't intend to restrict myself like that, but I thought I might as well create my own Pantheon of Film. These are movies that have been really meaningful to me after multiple viewings. That is not to say that they are the greatest movies ever made – some of them are but some of them most certainly are not (some might not even be objectively called "good"). But they are the movies that I love. So, in no particular order, here is my Pantheon. I recommend them whole-heartedly and hope that you will enjoy them as much as I do. I also recommend the potential additions, but haven't seen them often enough to know if they really belong on this list.
